Life Goes On
Yes I have cancer but life goes on.....at least we have chosen to try and make it go on...and almost as normal as possible.
Yes I have at least 1 week every 3 weeks that I am out of commission.
Yes I am more tired than normal...as I am yawning typing this post.
Yes I give in to Ady's temper tantrums a little easier than normal.
Yes I have to have extra help with the kids.
Yes I have incredible people bringing me meals so I don't have to cook.
Yes there are a lot of things that are not normal about our lives.
But we are trying to maintain as much normalcy as possible.
I mentioned in an earlier post that we were looking at houses...well we found a house and we are closing at the end of February. That means we have 6 weeks in normal time to pack and move. In my time, this translates to:
1 week that I feel good and up to packing
1 week of chemo and being out of commission
1 week of feeling half way decent and packing the house while also packing for a trip to Cancun
1 week(5 days in Cancun) a company trip that Josh won with his company that in trying to live a
somewhat normal life, we are planning on attending
1 week of chemo and being out of commission
1 week of feeling half way decent and packing a house
1/2 a week of packing the current house and
1/2 a week of preparing and moving into the new house
All this while living the rest of our normal lives.
So
Yes I may be crazy.
Yes I may stress at times.
Yes I will be leaning heavily on my friends.
Yes I will be leaning very heavily on my God.
Yes I plan to continue to LIVE life to the fullest even when I don't always feel like it.
Yes I will continue to thank God for the friends that keep me grounded and choose to live life with us!!!
Yes I will continue to thank God for the MANY MANY MANY blessings in my life and choose not to dwell on the negative.
