God Made Me to Be a ....
Growing up I spent so much time thinking about what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wanted to be a marine biologist, a psychologist, a teacher, a coach, a business women, and many other choices. Never did I ever want to be a stay at home mom. But 32 years later, I think I have finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up. I know without a doubt that God created me to be a MOM!!!!
I love my job with a passion and I realized that the two weeks after camp was over this summer. We were beginning to settle back into the routine of life and I realized how much I missed my job as a mom. Don't get me wrong, I love camp and I believe that God brought it into my life for a reason. I get to do something I love part time without neglecting my full time job.
I enjoy managing 5 different schedules, being a taxi, a cheerleader, a coach, a nurse, a comforter, a pillow, a tissue, a comedian and whatever else my job demands. And yes, sometimes I grumble a little about all the busyness but I really love it. I also am not perfect at my job but my bosses are the most forgiving in the world. The rewards are daily hugs, kisses, and smiles upon their faces.
So, yes I love camp (which is basically being a mom to 200+ kids) but I truly have enjoyed settling back into the routine of my full time job of MOM to what I must say are 5 of the best bosses ever.
So I finally figured out what I want to be when I grow up... GOD MADE ME TO BE A MOM!!!
